Don’t even think about buying that airline ticket until you check out the site FreeTraveling.com. They have compiled a list of promo codes for several U.S. airlines.
Most of the discounts airline codes are for American Airlines, but I found codes for Continental and Northwest as well.
Discounts aren’t always available for every time frame, much less on every airline, but it’s worth taking a look before you buy.
To use the codes, you may need to select “advanced” fare search options on the airlines’ websites. They don’t always make it immediately apparent.

Avoid this deadly air travel blunder

People on antidepressants and other medications sometimes forget their label warnings when they find out the alcohol is free in first class and business class.
This also happens with people who take a sleeping pill to help them sleep on long-distance flights. Alcohol and drugs are a highly dangerous combination, and I can’t tell you how many onboard medical emergencies have occurred on flights because of it.
So think before you swallow. Also, if you have an important medication that you need to take on the flight, don’t put it in your checked luggage. This happens more often than you might imagine.

Want to sit in first class but don’t want to pay and arm and a leg? Buy a coach ticket and then when you get to the gate ask if you can be upgraded to first class.
If there is room, you usually only have to pay a minimal fee, much less than the cost of first class ticket.
