For the outdoor enthusiast, expat or retiree, presents unlimited opportunities.

Known for its Caribbean shores and jungle interior, Belize is overflowing with great natural beauty—blue water, deserted beaches, and inland retreats where you can experience Mayan ruins, tall waterfalls, rainforests, and rivers.

The interior of Belize is perfect for Bird watching, you’ll often spot parrots, toucans, flycatchers, and herons in their natural habitat or visit a jaguar preserve where you can venture into the jungle in search of the elusive cats.

It should come to no surprise that Belize’s tourism industry is booming. If recent figures are any indication; this tiny tropical paradise is sure to become the next hot spot for retirees, and investors.

Between 2003 and 2004, cruise visits to this country increased by a full 58.1%—as opposed to just 14.1%, for example, for the same period in the Bahamas.

But what really separates Belize from other nearby countries is that its population speaks English. If you are moving to belize and are not interested in learning a new language, Belize should be at the top of your list as a potential destination for business, retirement, or a new home.
