Would you vacation at a pod hotel?

I just found a great post on Upgrade Travel Better about the growing trend of pod hotels. Many of these mini hotels claim to offer tiny rooms at no frills low prices.

I’m sure these pod hotels will appeal to many on-the-go travelers looking for a place to crash for the night, or Backpackers looking to upgrade from the hostel for change of pace.

Do you think these pod hotels are the next great travel trend or the latest downgrade?
